ไม้พุ่มกึ่งไม้ต้นขนาดเล็ก สูง 1-5 เมตร ใบ เป็นใบประกอบ แบบนิ้วมือ มีใบย่อย (3-) 5(-7) ใบ รูปหอกแคบ ขนาดกว้าง 1-3 ซม. ยาว 4-10 ซม. ปลายใบเรียวแหลม โคนใบสอบ ดอก สีขาวแกม ม่วงอ่อน ออกเป็นช่อจากซอกใบหรือปลายกิ่ง ยาวประมาณ 15 ซม. ดอกย่อยขนาดเล็กมีจำนวนมาก กลีบรองดอกเชื่อมกัน เป็นถ้วย ปลายแยก 5 แฉก มีขนด้านนอก กลีบดอก 5 กลีบ ขนาดไม่เท่ากัน เชื่อมกันที่โคน ปลายกลีบล่างแผ่โค้ง เกสรผู้ 4 อัน ผล รูปทรงกลม ขนาดเล็ก
Shrub or small tree, 1-5 m high. Leaves (3)7 foliolate; leaflets narrowly lanceolate, 4-10 cm long by 1-3 cm wide; base cuneate; apex acuminate. Inflorescence axillary and terminal panicle, ca 15 cm long, many flowered. Flowers white or pale violet-white; calyx 5, cup-shaped, puberulent outside; corolla 5, unequal, united at base, lower lobes curved inward; stamens 4, exserted. Fruit drupe, globose, small.
