Evergreen, gregarious, ground herb; rhizome extensively creeping in coil, cream-whitish and often with very pale light pinkish; leafy stems green, 86-129 cm tall including 63-107 cm long leafless lower part; leaves 7-10, blades dark green above, dull light green below; peduncle scales brown; bracts whitish, upper part dull reddish calyx, corolla, staminodes, anther, filament, crest white; capsules very dull dark violet. |
