ลักษณะ :

ไม้ล้มลุก ขนาดเล็ก สูง 6-8 ซม. ใบ เดี่ยว ออกเป็นกลุ่ม 1-5 ใบ ที่ใกล้โคนต้น แผ่นใบรูปหัวใจ กว้าง 0.8-2 ซม. ยาว 0.5-1.5 ซม. ปลายใบแหลมเป็นติ่งโคนใบเว้า ขอบใบหยักห่าง ก้านใบยาว 0.5-3 ซม. ดอก สีเหลือง ออกเป็นดอกเดี่ยวที่ยอด ก้านดอกยาว 1.5-2.5 ซม. กลีบรองดอก 5 กลีบ ยาว 4-5 มม. กลีบดอก 5 กลีบ รูปขอบขนาน ขนาดไม่เท่ากัน กลีบล่างจะแผ่ขยายใหญ่กว่า กลีบอื่น ยาว 6-10 มม. มีแต้มเป็นเส้นยาวสีแดงเข้มที่โคนกลีบดอก เกสรผู้ 5 อัน อยู่เป็นกลุ่มรอบเกสรเมีย เกสรเมียปลายแยกเป็นแฉกสั้น 3 แฉก ผล รูปรี ขนาด 5-6 มม. เมื่อแก่แล้วแตกเป็น 3 พู เมล็ดขนาดเล็ก

Characteristics :

Small perennial herb, 6-8 cm high. Leaves simple, fascicle, 1-5 leaves at the base of the stem, cordate, 0.5-1.5 cm long by 0.8-2 cm wide; apex acute; margin sparsely serrate; petiole 0.5-3 cm long. Inflorescence solitary, terminal, Flowers yellow with dark red stripe at the base; calyx 5, 4-5 mm long; corolla 5, oblong, unequal, the lower broader than the others, 6-10 mm long; stamens 5, fixed around the ovary; stigma 3 lobes. Fruit in 3-valved loculicidal capsule, ellipsoid, 5-6 mm long. Seeds small.

เป็นพืชถิ่นเดียวของ ประเทศไทย พบบริเวณทุ่งหญ้า บนผาแง่ม ดอยหัวเสือ อุทยาน แห่งชาติดอยอินทนนท์ จังหวัดเชียงใหม่ ที่ระดับความสูง 1,700-2,100 เมตร

Distribution :

Endemic to Thailand, only found in grasslands at Pa Ngem, Doi Hua Suea, Doi Inthanon National Park, Chiang Mai, at elevations of 1,700-2,100 m.
