Habitat: shady area in limestone vegetation, limestone bedrock. Epylithic, perennial deciduous herb, up to 12 cm tall. Stem pale green. Inflorescence axes pale green with long orange-white hairs, calyx light green with orange-white hairs. Corolla dark purple, with light purple-white stripes at throat and lower lobe, pistil white, filaments (2) white, anthers light cream brown. Leaf blades light green above, whitish green below with orange-white to black hairs. Uncommon. Specimen taken from plants grown from seeds of living plant collection. |
