Tree, 17 m high. dbh 56 cm. Crown flushing with young leaf; horizontal branching. Bole buttressed and fluted towards base. Bark mid grey/brown, flaking in scales and moderately cracked; middle bark green, inner bark pink with abundant white latex. Leaf young leaves bright red, later turning orange then pale green; blades held at a distinct angle to the petiole. Flower pedicel greenish-cream; tepals and filaments white; anthers pale yellow. |
